Why you should attend California State University San Marcos

By Vince Garcia

There's are lots of ways to describe California State University. Initially, you'd get the view of white contemporary buildings bordered by abundant gardens as well as the queues of palm trees. The entrance can be quite impressive with large cutting-edge structures and broad steps to go up. You would straight away get the university feeling of the area, similar to what you see in the movies.

It's a whole other story when you stay here. This is probably one of the easiest to adapt to especially if you're just fresh from high school. At your first day, the university personnel the professors and the student organization will greet and orient you about the campus. Bearing that this is not at all big in terms of size, you'll be able to familiarize yourself of the place in no time.

The class size averages at around 30 students. You get most out of your tuition fee just by this fact alone. You'd get a more personalized education while you get to know your professors really well. They are very eager to bring out your potential and improve your skills, whatever course you are in. It also doesn't hurt the fact that you don't have to practically sell your arm just to cover the expenses. They also have a list of financial aid programs you can apply to, just to help you loosen your purse strings. I tell you, finishing university debt-free is the most important thing you have to remember.

Located on the borders of an urban area, California State University San Marcos is the perfect place for students who want to move out of their homes. The residential facilities there are superb, with clean rooms and ample space for a mini-gathering. It's very commuter-friendly. You can hop on the Sprinter Train and it'll take you and your friends to the beach, malls, bowling alleys, cinemas and a number of good-quality restaurants around town.

Another highlight of this university is the Greek society. Honestly, it just totally stomps all the Greek life in other universities. It is the perfect way to meet new people and expand your horizons. They are all very welcoming to new and old students alike and prides itself in being a promoter of fellowship, leadership and service. There are also other teams and organizations that you could join. I tell you, this is a sure-fire way to add flavor to your campus life.

Whether you want a pure learning experience or have an enjoyable campus life, this is the place the go. You get the most out of what you've paid for- even beyond!
